Understanding 'An Assertive Sentence' is essential for mastering English. As we know, an assertive sentence makes a statement or gives information. If we make mistakes here, our sentences or writing will lose their true meaning. An Assertive (or Declarative) sentence is the most common type of sentence. It simply states a fact, gives information, or describes something. It always ends with a full stop. Example: 'The sky is blue'.
