Understanding 'Passive with Modals' is essential for mastering English. As we know, passive with modals uses 'modal + be + V3'. If we make mistakes here, our sentences or writing will lose their true meaning. When changing a sentence with a modal verb (can, should, must, etc.) into passive, we add 'be' after the modal and use the V3 form of the main verb. Active: 'I can do it'. Passive: 'It can be done by me'.
